It is designed to be of interest to educators and managers involved in the development of CHI professionals as well as individual researchers and practitioners thinking about their future work or career plans.
To apply, submit (1) a brief biographical statement describing education, work history, and any other relevant experience or interests, and (2) a two- to four-page position paper addressing the following questions:
This one-day workshop is limited to 20 participants.
The Deadline for submitting position papers is Feb 16. Participants will be chosen on the basis of the position paper, representation of the CHI community, and ability to work collaboratively to document and disseminate workshop results. Participants will be informed by March 11 whether or not they have been accepted.
One-day workshop participants at CHI will be charged $50. You will be asked to pay when you register for CHI and you'll have to fill out a special section of the registration form.
